Ironing Instructions
Always be careful with your iron:
To protect the item from the high temperature, you can put one cloth between the iron and the patch when heating the glue.
Remove all adhesives and labels from the back of your patch.
Lay patch face down on to where you are using Iron.
Put item on top of patch where it is going to be applied,
Use hot steam iron, temp about 260 - 300 degrees over item, to be applied to. Moving the Iron in motion 10-15 seconds.
Let cool (30 sec), take towel off and test patch. Touch sides with finger and lift up to see if glue is applied and sticking.
If patch is not applied, repeat steps 2 thru 5.
Do not overheat as the iron on glue will melt and the patch will not adhere or come off after several washings.
Additional things to note:
All temps and times are approximately due to different materials thickness of the product or clothing thickness the patches are being Iron on to. Use theses instructions as a guide and always start lower heat and work up as you never want to overheat the patches or items as the Iron on will not work.
Iron on patches last through 20-25 washes. Sewing is the best way to keep the patch attached to an item.
Glue guns also can work with patches when attaching to non-clothing items that will not go through the wash.
